Team: I am starting to give free classes on my PHD research that I want to share at this time, my personal spiritual walk, and practices I believe are going to be integral for our spiritual health and development this new world we find ourselves in. This new awakening, or Dawn as I am calling it, is the whole premise of my dissertation, so far.

That we are all going back to the “old ways” simply by necessity. One must celebrate birth, bury their dead, and send them to the next realm. One must have some sort of spiritual meal to get down the road. If the trajectory of the world keeps headed this way the ability, desire, and quite frankly money to gather and teach in the ways we have as spiritual community is over. The greatest fear of the church over this time has been you would see how little you need your leaders “upfront” in a community, but more shoulder to shoulder, if not in one’s own home.

This new day will look like the professional practitioner, or paid clergy, or formal church structures is over. While I fervently believe this is true, it isn’t a concern of mine personally.

See I am more interested in what happens when the the people become imbued with the power that the church has misused.

My working theory is over the next 20 years will be a wild spawning of new and truly unique manifestations of God, and her movement in the world towards liberation. Our collective liberation. Including our liberation theologically and spiritually. To many this will first appear as a re-synchronizing of the dominant belief system one finds oneself, with older, ancestral, or current practices that bring one close to the Earth, who is in crisis, and being the clergy in ones own life and community. But this will only be acknowledged once enough of the dominant culture declares it to be true. For white folks it will be novel, sudden and profound. Perhaps you already felt it? Starting March 2020 and finally culminating in this time?

But Black folks have always known many Spirits wear the mask of Christ but are not the Master from Nazareth. They have known that the Divine can, and uses any means, or tradition, to take a peek at us. To save our asses. “Grace.” Thats because not only was Christ not ours when the Galilean was handed to us, but the new “Masters” we served against our will couldn’t even see the power in the name.

Anyway all these thoughts are finally culminating into some work.
