Thank you for keeping us current on your travels. It's great to hear that you are as active as ever and you see your new life as a spiritual awakening. A lot of religious people don't understand that and that it's a wonderfully indescribable awareness that only you have with the Divine Most High. It's understandable that another clergy would lambast you for bucking the system and they don't understand that you have been attempting to clean up the mess that was already made and they continue to propogate. Some of us don't know or realize how deeply brainwashed and conditioned we are because we are chasing worldly things rather than walking the Road to.... Be well, my Brother. Where can I read an insider's account of the dynamics of the ELCA's Southern California Synod election? A Google search only brings up the official church news postings.
As an Episcopalian, I am all too well aware that the politicking at our Diocesan and General Conventions can get quite "heated" and would like to catch up with what you referenced in your post.
